I started a server for a while and i’d love to invite all of u guys to join.

Its bedrock and Java compatible.
For java, the ip is: lucyiscool.minehut.gg
For bedrock, the ip is: lucyiscool.bedrock.minehut.gg (there will be an option to change the port but keep it as is)
You dont need any specific name but you can do whatever you want
If the server isn’t active, you will be sent to the minehut lobby. To activate the server, type: /join lucyiscool
Also if you want a completely peaceful server with no wars, you should do some negotiating, cus the current players r kinda rabid
No griefing, UNLESS somebody griefed you. If someone if greifing please let me know.
And of course, NO HACKING

If the server looks offline, I just type /join lucyiscool and it wakes right up. Java and Bedrock both work fine for me using the two listed addresses.

If you're jumping between maps and mods a lot, I’d stick with the best site for Minecraft mods and maps since it keeps all the new updates, bug fixes, and custom projects in one spot. I’ve grabbed stuff like Builder’s Paradise there without worrying about broken versions, and it made testing new worlds way smoother.

Does anyone actually use those all-in-one backend platforms for their game servers, or is sticking with a regular VPS still the better call for most people?

I've used both, and honestly, it depends on what you're building. For a simple server, a regular VPS is probably fine. But for a multiplayer game with leaderboards, player accounts, and matchmaking, a game backend service saves you a ton of headache. You get auth, data storage, and server discovery built in, no need to stitch together a bunch of different tools. I switched because setting up user accounts and save files myself was taking forever.
